TA to the Enhancing Participatory Democracy in Namibia (EPDN)
Task description: 

The key expert will advice the Parliament on budget analysis, oversight of public policies, institutional strengthening, and bring best practices and successful experiences from foreign countries to Namibia.


Qualifications and skills

  • University degree in politics, international development, public administration or related areas

  • Excellent communication and reporting skills in English

General professional experience

  • At least ten years’ experience in capacity building and training for Parliament and other government institutions (development of training plans and material, delivering trainings to different stakeholders)

  • Previous experience in EU funded projects

  • Previous experience in (Southern) African countries in related topics

Specific professional experience

  • At least 5 years’ experience in working with Parliament

  • Budget analysis, oversight of public policies, institutional strengthening.
