Qualifications:

Qualifications and skills
• A university degree (at least Bachelor’s degree or equivalent diploma) in the areas of economics, business administration or finances (or in a relevant, directly related discipline), or equivalent relevant professional experience of minimum 3 years in 10, in addition to the minimum general professional experience requirement mentioned below
• Excellent written and oral communication in English language (C2 level).
• Good knowledge of French and/or Spanish (B2 level) will be considered as an asset.


General professional experience
• At least 7 years of professional experience in the fields of Micro, Small and Medium enterprises (MSME) development and/or access to finance and/or private sector development.
• Working experience with the European Union will be considered as an asset.


Specific professional experience
At least 5 years of professional experience (in total) in at least two of the three following areas of expertise:

• Facilitation of sustainable investments, including green and social investments.
• Private sector development, public-private dialogue, support to business organisations.
• Design and/or implementation of financial instruments for MSME finance (debt finance, equity finance, risk sharing mechanisms, outcome-based finance).
