Colombia: Advancing Socio-economic Integration for Migrants, Refugees, IDPs and Host Communities
In December 2024, GOPA Worldwide Consultants completed its contribution to the German-government GIZ supported Iniciativa Bogotá 2.0 (IB2.0) project which aims to improve the socio-economic integration of refugees, migrants, returnees and host communities in Bogotá.
A Collective Effort for Inclusion
Partnerships between the public sector (through Bogotá’s City Hall and its administration), private sector as well as civil society (CSO) and community-based (CBO) organisations were crucial in promoting and protecting rights, as well as aiding in the initial reception and socio-economic integration of a diverse range of populations.
