We’re committed to fostering a culture of continuous learning and knowledge exchange across all departments. This year, our Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Team successfully trained 36 GOPA Worldwide Consultants’ colleagues through three on-site trainings held in January, May, and October. These sessions brought together Junior and Senior PMs, PM Experts, and PM Technical staff for a rich cross-departmental exchange on Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL).

Participants gained foundational knowledge in monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning, including results frameworks, indicators and results-based monitoring. Practical group exercises enhanced skills in proposal writing, logframe preparation and designing donor-specific monitoring plans, tailored to acquisition and implementation needs. 

The MEL trainings received favourable feedback, with participants highlighting the well-organised sessions, networking opportunities, and relevant content. Building on this success, our MEL team looks forward to hosting more cross-departmental trainings next year!
