Showcasing Mongolia at the Bazaar Berlin Trade Fair

The GOPA-implemented “EU International Trade Development in Mongolia (ITDM) Project” co-operated closely with the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI), the Mongolian Information and Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) in Berlin, the Mongolian Export Cluster Network (MECN) and export clusters to establish the Mongolian Green Labels Country Pavilion at the popular Bazaar Berlin Trade Fair from November 6 to 10, 2024.

The impressive 100sqm Mongolian Country Pavilion showcased a wide range of Mongolian specialties including the well-known cashmere products, other refined textiles, hand-crafted leather and felt goods, and a wide-variety of cosmetics and beauty products. The pavilion was supported by ITPCs in Berlin and Freiburg, which run retail stores with products, as well as the online shop www.mongolian-green-labels.eu

Bazaar Berlin is a well-known B2C trade fair and enables both ITPCs and Member SMEs of the Mongolian export clusters to sell their products directly to end consumers, obtain their feedback and strengthen their selling skills. The Mongolian Pavilion demonstrates the close cooperation between ITDM, MNCCI, ITPCs and export clusters as well as the collaboration among the exporting SMEs for joint marketing of their products. It also enhances the visibility of the support of the European Union for export promotion, diversification, and economic development in Mongolia through the ITDM project, implemented by GOPA.
