This initiative aims to elevate global awareness about gender-based violence, an issue demanding urgent action and solidarity.

We firmly say STOP to violence against women and girls and support awareness on this issue, including promoting the national support helpline in Germany: 116 016. Available 24/7, 365 days a year, this hotline offers assistance in 18 languages, ensuring help is reachable for everyone.

• The “Progress on the Sustainable Development Goals: The Gender Snapshot 2024” report, an annual series produced by UN Women and the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs shows key findings on gender equality across all SDGs.
