Bosnia and Herzegovina: GOPA continues to support entrepreneurs through the Impakt Investment Foundation

The Impakt Investment Foundation (IIF) was created in 2019 as a spin-out from the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC)-funded Youth Employment Project (YEP) in Bosnia and Herzegovina. YEP has been implemented by GOPA’s Education and Employment Promotion (EEP) department since 2008 and will run until March 2022.

One of YEP’s main highlights is the implementation of an entrepreneurship programme, known as YEP/IMPAKT Business Ideas Incubator. The YEP project founded the IIF in order to ensure sustainability of the incubator programme, as it was very successful and received positive response locally.

Ena Begicevic Celikovic, one of IIF’s supported entrepreneurs, has recently formally established and registered her new design business. She shares her experience here:https://www.youtube.com/embed/yS3UtdYAYrU

IIF has trained and mentored more than 1500 young entrepreneurs from multiple sectors (services, agriculture and food, textiles, tourism, health, information communication technology, etc).
